Mary has been designing both functional and beautiful living spaces from her Brisbane based Studio for over 30 years.

Growing up at the historical Gracemere Station in Queensland has provided an environment that has shaped her love of art and design. She draws on this heritage as well as her significant understanding of materials, design methodology, styles and patterns to create elegant and timeless interiors.

Mary completed her formal training at the New York School of Interior Design in 1980 when Interior Design was in its infancy in Queensland.

This gave Mary an opportunity to promote design in these early years, tutoring design students at the Queensland University of Technology whilst further developing her successful Interior Design business.

Interior design commissions have included many residential and commercial projects in Australia as well as internationally, in France, Italy, China and the UK. The refurbishment of the formal reception rooms of the Prime Minister’s official residence “The Lodge” in Canberra was a particularly proud achievement.

Mary values personal relationships above all else, firmly believing successful design projects result from the collaborative process between the client and the designer. The importance of detail is paramount in creating an environment which meets the personal needs of the client.

Under Mary’s experienced eye, she and her creative team strive to provide their clients with personalised attention, making it their mission to create unique interiors reflecting the individuality and style of the client.
